Project Management Platform
The Project Management Platform is Shared Futures' flagship product, designed to support NGOs receiving public funds, grassroots community initiatives, and mental health-focused projects in managing and reporting their work more effectively. It provides a unified space for planning, delivery, collaboration, and transparent reporting, especially for organisations working with limited digital tools or technical capacity.
Developed in close partnership with Co-operation Ireland, local councils across Ireland and Northern Ireland, EU PEACE funding bodies, and the University of Essex, the platform was shaped through participatory research and service design methods. Its key features include:
- Customisable project dashboards
- Collaborative resource libraries and tagging systems
- Automated reporting templates aligned with funder expectations
- Contextual chatbot to reduce admin burden and build user confidence
- 3D collaborative editor for redesigning public and shared spaces
The platform was designed to meet the needs of users with varying digital literacy levels, with strong emphasis on accessibility, clarity, and trust. All development followed the UK Government Digital Service (GDS) standards, and included extensive input from frontline workers, volunteers, and public sector teams.
Geographic Reach
- 6 regions across Ireland and Northern Ireland – supporting cross-community and reconciliation-focused projects
- 14 regions in Essex – enabling mental health initiatives and local partnerships
- 5 regions in Bristol – helping health and wellbeing teams coordinate and scale their work
Built to reflect real-world constraints and developed alongside those using it daily, the platform continues to evolve as a long-term digital infrastructure for civic and community innovation.

Explore a 3D present and future map of your community in Augmented Reality, giving you the freedom to zoom in and “walk your streets” or zoom out and take a birds-eye view of your area. Collaborate with others from your community by reading and responding to each other’s comments. This creates an opportunity to redesign your future together as a community.
