  Description:
“Fab labs are a global network of local labs, enabling invention by providing access to tools for digital fabrication. It is a technical prototyping platform for innovation and invention, providing stimulus for local entrepreneurship.  It is also a platform for learning and innovation: a place to play, to create, to learn, to mentor, to invent.”

  Community Uses:

○       Innovation Centre – where community members can discuss and create things for improving the area throug rapid prototyping and production.

○       Skills Building – a place for apprenticeships in hi-tech manufacturing, craftsmanship, and cooperative enterprise building.

○       Community Building – a space for all people to come together to learn and create.
